Sex can get better with age?

5:59 PM 0 Comments

At 59, Julie Rose Wells has sex at least two to six times a week.

Wells, who is based in Idaho, says over time, sex is still just as exciting as it was when she was younger.

“I don’t think that has changed for me,” she tells Global News. “[There is still] the touching, kissing and feeling each other.”

Sex can get better with age, but it all depends on how well we understand and cater to our changing bodies. And even though we all age, sex as a senior is still often stigmatized, says relationship expert Christina Jay of Preferred Match. Jay says the stigma of seniors being sexually active exists because we haven’t embraced aging.

When Ashley Simon met Charles LaPrade, they both showed up wearing tie-dye shirts. That colorful coincidence was an instant connection that just kept getting stronger. It was June 2012 and they were both attending a mutual friend’s birthday celebration weekend in South Carolina. Ashley and Charles immediately noticed each other, not just because of the shirts. As Ashley remembers, “Pretty quickly we felt that we were soul mates. It was just way different than any interaction with another human being I had ever had before.” Charles felt the same. “We just kind of clicked.”

The future of online dating?

1:42 PM 0 Comments

While you may ask what it has to do with online dating, you must become really concerned. The scariest thing about online dating right now is dating scams. Swindlers that use com-artist skills to fool you and steal your personal or financial data. But if the experiment with artificial intelligence will continue, soon we may have chat-bots who would pretend to be real women or men, not in order to steal your money, but just to trick you for fun or maybe not just that… Whether it will happen or not, you should find your soul mate online as soon as possible, because hooligan chat-bots may be way scarier than online scammers.

On Thursday night's reunion episode of the Lifetime reality series, Cody Knapek, 26, and his wife Danielle DeGroot, 30, admitted that they have not had sex yet, but they are still together and working on their marriage.

Danielle blamed their lack of intimacy on the fact that she is still not in love with her husband, even though they have been living together for half of a year.

A terminally ill bride died an hour after marrying her man among family and friends.

Tracy Glover and John McKeowen tied the knot during a ceremony at their home in Thames on Saturday, but it was laced with sadness.

Shortly after the birth of their boy Keenan last year, Glover was diagnosed with lung cancer that spread to her hips, shoulder and liver. It was vicious and untreatable.

Glover leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity, which included caring for children in her home and charitable work at the re-use and recycle Seagull Centre in Thames.

It's a match made in Facebook heaven.

It was only after her husband, Mike, pleaded for help that Linzi was finally diagnosed with dementia. She now has as little as two years left to live.

Ex-Lovers Meet Each Other For The First Time After 30 Years

10:08 PM 0 Comments
I just watched this with tears in my eyes.  Two lovers reunite after 30 years.  So what kind of soul mate do you think they are?  Definitely twin soul, that's my guess.  With twin souls, it's often a lot of obstacles that prevent the two from staying together very long.  I haven't figured out the reason why that is.  It's a timeless love and the truest love of all the soul mate relationships.

Caitlyn Jenner: 'This is about your life' #caitlynjenner

5:32 PM 0 Comments
It's in all the headlines, people are talking about it on social media and most are in the shock of the transformation of Bruce Jenner, better known now as Caitlyn Jenner.  As most of you have seen by now, Bruce has started his transgender journey as a woman.  And she - Caitlyn - is far beautiful than anyone could ever imagine especially for being 65.

So what's this have to do with soul mates?  I couldn't resist to post my take on this because the message needs to be heard - love yourself first

Most of us go through our lives trying to lead normal lives even with the bumps and bruises.  Bruce did just that but felt his life was wasting away because "he" wasn't what "she" wanted to be. She was quoted as saying of the Vanity Fair photo shoot, "That was a good day, but the last couple of days were better...This shoot was about my life and who I am as a person.  It's not about the fanfare, it's not about people cheering in the stadium, it's not about going down the street and everybody giving you 'that a boy, Bruce' pat on the back, O.K.  This is about your life."

It takes a lot of guts to declare war on yourself and that's exactly what she did because despite what criticism she would get from the press (none so far that I can tell) and her family (some accepting, some not), she did it to be true to herself.

I have preached over and over again that in order for anyone to love you, you have to love yourself first and Caitlyn Jenner is a living testimony to this despite the fact that she had to change her gender to do it.  While some people might not understand why someone born a man would want to become a woman, I think I do understand.

On his Facebook page, he writes, "I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self.  Welcome to the world Caitlyn.  Can't wait for you to get to know her/me."
